Majority of these people were always going to hate Redfall simply because it’s an Xbox first party title. If you’re thinking about trying out the game, don’t be put off by negative reviews or view hungry YouTube videos. The world does feel a little empty with a lack of NPC’s, similar to how Fallout76 felt at launch but overall this game has potential and could become a strong title if Arkane persevere, fix the technical issues & continue to support Redfall with post launch content. The gunplay feels really good and the loot mechanics are great too. The story is interesting albeit not told through traditional cinematic cutscenes, opting for notes that the player must seek out themselves through exploration.
